Suppose that you could make a custom server,
Needs to be a robust
high performance WEB server that
gets heavily pounded 24/7.

Main sources of
data are local for static data and remote db
for structured text data.

TCO, Cost effectiveness way more important
than base hardware cost but bells & whistles
need to be justified.

What hardware would you use and why.
