Wow, I was just going to say the battle was lost, but
this is much better! Has said horse made it to the
glue factory yet? :)

I agree RE: the original intent, but unfortunately, in
addition to the mainstream media/user community, many
'in the industry' have helped cloud the original
definition. Witness books such as 'Hacking Exposed'
and classes such "eXtreme Hacking". 

But, c'est la vie.
