I agree that political spamming has no place here, but there are
definitely some political issues that are also very much Open Source
and technical issues as well.  Case in point, this slashdot interview
with, ironically enough, Oregon Senatorial candidate Steve Novick:

An interview like that, while political, seems like it might belong in
the Open Source discussion.  I hope I didn't offend anyone.
