[Eug-lug] Open source project hosting

I've been working on a DMAP* library for the last few weeks.  I'd like
to publish it as open source, but I don't know where to publish it.

Sourceforge used to be the obvious answer, but now there's
Google Code, nongnu.org, and others.

So I'm looking for recommendations.  Does anyone here have
experiences, good or bad, with open source hosting providers?
