[Eug-lug] .mobi DNS, wha?

If http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.mobi is true, then why would I see
spam directing me to a domain whose DNS is server by a .mobi address??
Don't get me wrong, I don't [usually] logically conclude things from
wikipedia :)  This is a story-telling question, I guess.
FWIW, the spam's From: address appears to be spoofed.  This was the
first spam to slip past gmail filters for me in many moons,
so I did a whois on the only domain mentioned in the email's body...
was ns1 & ns2 dot ZABATUT dot mobi ... abused mobi?
