Just a reminder.

O'Reilly's OSCON (OpenSource Conference) is in Portland at the Oregon
Convention Center this week.  See
http://en.oreilly.com/oscon2008/public/content/home for details.  The
best days of the conference are Wednesday and Thursday.  The
conference is expensive, but there are many fun free things for people
who can not afford the conference fees.  O'Reilly is very good
committed to Open Source and realize that many Open Source people have
limited resources.  As a result, O'Reilly let's everyone into the Expo
and the Birds of the Feather sessions and the OSCAMP room for free.
Also, there are many interesting conversations going on a the halls
and everyone can get to these.

Finally, PLUG has a booth in the Expo.  John Jason Jordan
<johnxj at comcast.net> is organizing this and I'm sure he could use some
help.  PLUG signed up for this booth, but people from other local Open
Source and Linux groups are welcome to share it and certainly welcome
to have us pass out your group's flyers.
