currently it's at the everybody argue about it stage.

But it does have some kicky things in it like repetitive form elements and
defined APIs for editable elements and dynamic interface elements like
datagrids and commands
since all of the major browsers have already agreed in principle to
support it once it becomes an official recommendation
it is coming, and probably in something fairly close to what's referenced above.
