I hope I am sending this email correctly to get to all. I usally read
post but do not respond much I almost made the euglug meeting this
thursday but due to a service call I missed it.(we did say hi to the
person at the normal place the meeting is held but had to go on the
service call, someday I might make the meeting )Anyway I run Ubuntu 7.10
and have a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT PCIe and I had a hard time confiquring
the xorg.conf I had to boot from the onboard video card and change the
xorg.conf the shut down and swap cards and boot to the Nvidia GeForce
7300 GT PCIe, I had to edit the PCIe port to 1:0:0 it was 0:2:0 in the
X. I could not get live CD to boot with the PCIe card only the onboard
video would This is just a FYI about the PCIe card. This was last October.
PS I was able to get Battlefield 2 a 3d game to run with tran$gammings
help.but graphics are great.
