Mike will be presenting a brief overview of Network Management Systems
( NMS ), including what they are and what system & network administers
as well as operations staff use them for on a daily basis.  Mike has
used various NMS systems in his career ranging from small to large
enterprise environments.  The remainder of this talk will be on Nagios
a free open source NMS that any administrator can deploy in small
medium and large environments and how Nagios can keep you awake or
help you get more sleep at night.
