A number of people suggested that their refusal to cooperate was more
an inability, technically.

What does it say about our country when we are more surprised that a
CEO didn't sell his customers out to the government in an extra-legal
maneuver that could have netted him lucrative contracts than that he
stood up (and got nailed on a set of charges so abstruse that no one
who isn't an accountant and a lawyer could possibly understand whether
or not a crime took place)
