Close -- Does not appear to have ether, and I cannot find any info about
linux hacking of the device:
http://www.mvixusa.com/knowledgebase/users/kb.php?id=3D10040&category_id=3D=
0&sid2=3D
(I googled half-heartedly, beyond that, finding nothing)
Good luck streaming to it -- I noticed the main complaint is that it will
NOT display anything on the TV while the USB cable is connected. I've seen
various similar devices (prolly not linux-powered tho) which do all this and
have ethernet. I'd rather have a non-linux ethernet model, than a
non-hackable linux usb-only device :) The FM transmitter sounds handy
though -- cheap fake surround sound.
It sounds funny to me that their propreitary firmware "resides on top of"
uclinux.
As for Apple TV, are people hacking that up just like the iPhone? I'll
assume so, but haven't been following. They got fink for that yet, or
something?? :)
