[Eug-lug] Damaged hard drive

If you have a spare power supply that you can hook up where its not so 
noisy, you could re-build the drives, then hook them up, and check that 
the drive is doing normal things. During the power on sequence, you 
typicly hear your drives spin up, unpark heads, and you can hear it 
making clicking sounds. This all happens before the computers bios finds 
the drives.  The computer has to wait for the drives to do thier thing 
before it can detect drive info.

You can also figure out if the drive is spinning up by holding it when 
you turn it on.
