I'll install the extra stuff myself, thanks very much, knowing the
reasoning behind it.

(I see what you're getting at, and with each release they do try to make
it easier and easier to get all the restricted stuff - in Feisty you get
the bulk of it with one click. If you're installing your own OS, I think
you can handle installing a few post-install packages...)
