I have a PCI IDE raid controller card that im not using... I give up on 
raid. regular drives work fine for my needs.

Thats what I usually do. a lot of times the 1GB SD card for my 
camera/mp3 player does the trick, If I have to do a lot of stuff, i 
have a USB HDD. I rarely use CD/DVD's anymore.
