[Eug-lug] Help with a Comcast test?

Our Comcast internet connection seems to be very spotty. Our VOIP quality
goes in and out and my wife's VPN connection gets dropped multiple times
per day. I've swapped routers and that didn't help. When you call Comcast
they do a test of 50 pings and then say it looks fine to us.
I need to do real test of the QOS I'm getting. The best tool I have found
seems to be iperf, which runs on Linux or Windows. I want to set up a
simulated voip call for at least an hour and get detailed statistics about
packet loss, jitter, and so on.
What I need is another machine somewhere that can be the other side of the
test. It needs to have a known good quality connection with a generous up
and down bandwidth. Anyone interested? Even better, does anyone know of an
iperf server on the net somewhere?
An alternate way of doing this would be to set up a real voip call with
Wireshark sniffing both ends of the conversation. Wireshark can do a
detailed analysis of the packet stream.
Cheers, Bob
