That's pretty hot, marbux.  They have a product called wordPort that's 
WAY less expensive than what it cost me to get six Brother floppies 
converted to word format.

S'pose, if I was willing to spellcheck after the conversion, this 
product would technically be free...

The interesting part for me is how this software can trick my machine 
into reading a single-density Brother-formatted floppy disk in a HD 
floppy drive.

Have yet to dive into your other links--but the first hit was promising.
