[Eug-lug] Linux Mint

I don't know if this has been discussed before or not, but I figured I would
bring it up.

Has anyone else here heard of the disto, Linux Mint?

Personally it is what I suggest new newbies. To say that it is based on
Ubuntu would be an overstatement. It IS Ubuntu, but with a better looking
skin and all multimedia codecs installed by default.
So, like Ubuntu, it is super easy to use and install, but like Windows, it
just works!

Oh, and on a related note, I got one of my nerdy friends who knows nothing
about Linux to try out Mint last night. It took him about five minutes
before he was throwing a tit because he couldn't install it since he wasn't
on his own computer. :D
