This email is to announce the formation of a Video Gaming Special Interest Group which is a subgroup of the Corvallis Chapter of the Software Association of Oregon. If you would like to receive announcements about this group please join the Google group at: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/sao-corvallis-gaming-sig. Further annoucements and SIG events will typically only be posted to the SIG mailing list. Information about the group can also be found here: http://www.sao.corvallis.or.us/drupal/node/26.
The first meeting will take place at Woodstock's Pizza on Tuesday January 16th from 7pm - 8pm (Google Map).
Here is the SIG description:
Find out who is developing video games in the Corvallis area, learn from their struggles, and see how you can join in.
This is the special interest group for video gaming, gaming technology, serious games and the process of developing and selling games.
Our first meeting will be at Woodstock's (on King's Blvd.), Tuesday January 16th, 2007, from 7pm to 8pm. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
