[Eug-lug] WPA with WEP?

AFAIK the radios support only one [encryption] mode at a time; I've seen
mode-hopping for certain but not normal uses...
So unless I missed something too I think you'd either need to run a 2nd
router (or make a 1-1 connection for the DS Lite).
If the current conclusions that WPA is better than WEP hold up, and you're
using WPA for general usage,
then you'd be advised to further lock down whatever WEP connection to do
bridge to your WAN/LAN, for instance:
Does the DS need to reach only the WAN, or other LAN devices? (aside from
its ad-hoc wifi -- provide on the routing needed)
Can you further lock down the WEP radio to only talk to your DS's MAC
address? This might hinder visitors' DS's... up to you.
Seems to me like a spare WEP device ona system you can control routing on
would do the trick. :)
If you don't have a routing computer power on enough of the time, then it
seems like a spare cheap router would be needed.
