[Eug-lug] amd64 or x86?

A question for those of you who have 64-bit capable processors: Do you
run an "amd64" or "x86" distro?

I run x86 on my desktop, and have no problems.  I run amd64 on my
laptop.  It has hardware incompatibilties galore (mostly from the
video chip, ATI FireGL 5250).  I've got an alternate x86 root on a USB
drive, and it still has most of the compatibility issues.  The biggest
difference is that Adobe's flash plugin works on x86.

So what are the rest of you running, and why?
