[Eug-lug] OT: Looking for suggestions for broadband (in Eugene)

The problem with satellite service is always going to be rain fade or
other atmospheric conditions.  It's my understanding you can increase
your gain with a larger dish.  Have you looked at EVDO service from
Verizon?  My other suggesting would be some other data plan from a
nation wide wireless carrier.
