Dynamic DNS is very much the same as classic/static DNS. The domain name and
the ip address are stored in an A record on a nameserver (and the address of
the nameserver has to be given to your domain name registrar). With a static
ip you just create this record once. With Dynamic DNS you have to change the
ip address in the A record everytime your service provider changes your ip
address.   Everydns.net provides a very reliable free DNS service. They also
provide an easy way of updating your ip address for a dynamic dns setup.
