Yes, if you're downloading to a FAT or FAT 32 partition, the Knoppix
DVD somewhat exceeds the maximum file size limit or 4 GB. I remember
that happening to me back when. Create a NTFS partition to download to
and you shouldn't have that problem, assuming that's the barrier
you're encountering. Or download the Knoppix live CD first, burn and
boot it, use it and QParted to create an Ext2 or Ext3 partition, mount
that partition and use Knoppix to download the DVD to that partition
and then burn the image from Knoppix too. Should be joy.
