Good Afternoon,

I am writing to remind you of this exciting upcoming event! On May 1st
Oregon is coming together on the campus of Oregon State University to
discuss the impact of wireless Internet connectivity on communities and
economy. High speed unwired internet access is expanding the way people
access the internet. It changes how consumers get and use information
for
personal and work related needs. It changes how businesses can organize
their work and structure their organization.

Unwire Oregon: Forging a New Economic Development Consensus

Ever wonder how the ever increasing mobile access to the internet will
change our communities, our economy or our world? Mobility of internet
access, the unwiring of internet connections, has the potential to
change
everything.

This important forum is a one of kind opportunity for businesses, civic,
an
d
economic development leaders to meet and discuss the impact of trends in
wireless internet access, including the rise of municipal networks, the
ris
e
of various free and very affordable wireless systems and new Internet
applications.

The Unwire Oregon (www.unwireoregon.com) is bringing 200 policymakers,
economic development officials and technologists from around Oregon, but
also from across the country to discuss and point the direction for
communities to prepare for the coming mobile revolution.
