[Eug-lug] Canon Pixma i3000 on Ubuntu 6.10

I see that Ubuntu 6.10 finds my Canon Pixma i3000 as a i4000, but prints 
a workable test page.  For now I am going to use it.  Anyone here if 
that was a bad thing, as in hard on the hardware?
