[Eug-lug] Google offering free in-home wireless broadband service in our area

You may have missed the announcement by Google. They are now offering free
in-home wireless broadband service in our area. The set-up is a bit awkward
but it's free. I'm thinking of applying for the service but hoping for some
feedback from others in our local area first.

Now I can better the reason behind the new data warehouse facility Google
built in nearby The Dalles. I would have expected the Portland area would
have been first in line to receive the service but I guess they want to beta
test in Lane County and some other smaller areas first.
