Thanx, Jason, for the hands-on report. You saved me a headache.

Things must be hoppin' at the dell site. I (and all of us, I'm sure)
got a coupon book with a private login, and, when I clicked on the 6400
lappy (I think that's what they're calling the 1505), the price jumped a
hundred dollars from one screen to the next--peaking the last time I
looked at 899. (Started at $729).

In my cynicism, I assumed price hikes--but I believe it's that less
expensive models are being gobbled up, and FAST.

The 6400 is only available now with 2gigs of ram. They're giving a
pretty sweet price break on it--but there are NO options for less
ram--at least not at my special coupon login page.

S'pose I should go to their vanilla small business site, see if there's
a less expensive build. 1 gig of ram I can see--but 2? Do I really need
that much?
