Dell's the direction I'm looking, too.  Got a coupon book, to boot--but 
it's slightly higher-end Inspirons/Lattitudes that they're offering.

Yours sounds like a pretty sweet package.  Particularly like that 64bit 
dual core.

Can't exactly find the spex at their site, so may I ask you: will your 
lappy have a firewire port?
