I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
I applied to use gmail on a couple domains several months ago and was
approved for both domains.  it took a few days.

Then I didn't do anything with them.
I have just started using them now.
In fact, this posting is being sent (after an address change) from a
gmail account for DavidMandel.com.
