I did not know that!  Thank you for the Saturday morning history lesson.

On a more Linux-related note, I'm really liking Kubuntu Edgy on my
desktop.  Last night I found out how to stream from amaroK to the
SliMP3s.  That was fun.  Today I got some spam in Hangul (I think),
and the characters rendered correctly in mutt in an xterm.  That
wasn't exactly fun, but it's good to see it working correctly.
