[Eug-lug] Ok, more questions

Uh I know I'm kind of a linux-tard "at this point" so forgive me if this  
sounds stupid, but aren't GNOME and KDE different GUIs?  Thus begging the  
question, why would you "run" Gnome on KDE? It's one or the other isn't  it?
