[Eug-lug] IEEE and Ubuntu

Just an FYI, IEEE is a standards body. IEEE 1394 is Firewire.
The Adaptec 4300/Fireconnect would probably work wonders for
you. Typically stick with a TI or NEC chipset and avoid Via like
the plague if you want reliability.
