Yeah, I suppose that would help a little.

As for supplies, I've got burgers/dogs/buns.
Some sort of snacks/side dishes would be a good thing.
Also drinks, and if you're vegetarian, you might want to bring along 
something.
My wife will be baking with a friend, so hopefully we'll be able to raid 
   that.
