Agreed, however you can use less in "follow-mode" (press capital "F",
although you then have to ctrl-C to regain scrollback... less is more since
you can highlight by regex IIRC.
Customizing screen's control keys might also help, although I'm sure it
would annoy the hell out of anyone who knows the defaults 8^P
Mastery of screen doesn't come easy... but I've found every attempt
worthwhile.
