I don't have the original message to reply to immediately, but for the
person making the snarky comment about new Powerbooks coming in a week or
so:

Today, Apple unveiled updates to its PowerBook lineup. The PowerBook
G4/1.5GHz with 12.1-inch LCD, 512MB RAM, 60GB hard drive, and
DVD-CDRW combo drive costs $1,499; with a larger 80GB hard drive and
SuperDrive, it costs $1,699. For 15.2-inch PowerBooks, the G4/1.5GHz
model with a DVD-CDRW combo drive costs $1,999, while the G4/1.67GHz
model, with SuperDrive, costs $2,299. Finally, the PowerBook
G4/1.67GHz with 17-inch LCD, 100GB hard drive, SuperDrive, and Dual
Link DVI costs $2,699. (Dual Link DVI can be used to power Apple's
30-inch LCD monitor.) All models feature integrated AirPort Extreme
and Bluetooth 2.0. Update: ExperCom has the PowerBook G4/1.67GHz
with 15.2-inch LCD and PowerBook G4/1.67GHz with 17-inch LCD, each
with an additional 512MB RAM, for $2,299 and $2,699, respectively.

Let the drooling commence, especially on that 17" which can power a dual
link DVI display. ;) Laptop with 30" screen. Aww yeah, that is almost
as excessive as a 40' long Hummer.
