for anything under the sun cheap try :   All Electronics  800-826 5432, they 
are a surplus outfit in LA req. a catalog and you will find motors from 
$0.70 thru $ 2.25  without gearboxes and from $ 2.50 thru 15.95 with 
gearboxes ,,,,now if you want a lesson on step motors write me ..  these 
jewels have no commutators ,,therefore no commutation limit, they can 
produce a FULL HP if your solid state drver HDW is smart enuf and fast 
enuf..their speed torque cuve is square! the happen to exist in most FDD's 
more powerfull ones also avail in catalog of A-E, $ 0.85 thru $ 7.75 look 4 
"hybrid" they have de-energized "holding torque" like gear ratchet lock...

ready wound motors for less...It's a DIY type of thing.
